节前，江东公安在全区范围内集中组织开展社会治安临查临检集中统一行动，分局始终坚持“零死角”排查隐患、“零容忍”整改问题，对辖区酒店、出租屋、旅馆业、大型商场、娱乐服务等重点场所加大安全检查和消防隐患排查力度，有力净化节日期间社会治安环境。同时，分局充分发挥食药环领域协作职能作用，联合市市场监管局江东分局对江东新区的大小商超、生鲜市场、冷库冻库、港货店、烟酒专柜等场所的食品质量、进货渠道、存储状况、索票索证等方面进行了详细检查，进一步督促经营者严格落实食品安全主体责任，严把食品进货关、质量关和安全关，保障人民群众食品安全。

“双节”期间，江东公安结合假期期间社会面人流、物流、车流增多等特点，科学调整警力部署和巡逻防控布局，全面加强新区大学城、碧桂园夜市、十里东岸营地、河源东站、中骏世界城、临江圩镇、越王山风景区等重点场所部位的安全防范、秩序治理和社会面整体防控，期间共出动警力近300人次，严格落实公安武警联勤武装巡逻和“1、3、5分钟”快速反应机制，采取“点、线、面”巡逻防控模式，最大限度把警力摆到街面，做到巡逻不留死角，管控不留盲区，织密巡防网格，提高见警率、管事率和震慑力，给群众看得见的安全感。

交警部门早谋划、早研判、早部署，优化警务模式，加大重点时段的巡逻频次和指挥疏导，密切关注景区、商圈、餐饮街、地摊夜市等不同区域周边道路情况，针对交通事故易发、高发、多发点位，科学设置卡点，严格查控“三超一疲劳”、酒驾、无牌无证等交通违法行为，并针对突然出现的“大客流”进行提前预警、迅速应对，通过引导分流等方式有效排堵保畅。期间，共查处酒驾6宗，醉驾5宗，疲劳驾驶1宗，货车超载2宗，客车超员7宗，非机动车违法131宗，摩托车不戴头盔84宗，不按规定使用安全带180宗，无证驾驶11宗，准驾不符3宗，假套牌6宗，报废车1宗。
